This week I wanted to share another recipe from my Crock-Pot Recipe Collection cookbook. It is a chicken and dumpling recipe for those times that we don’t have time to make traditional dumplings. I tried something a little different this time when I made it. I used the drippings from a previous chicken recipe in place of the cream of chicken soup. It added some extra flavors because it had onion and mushrooms in it along with a little seasoning. The only draw back was that it made the chicken and dumplings a little too salty. Other than that it seemed to work really well because Travis liked it. Hopefully y’all do to!
