Our Titan sunflowers have matured and dried. The heads are impressive and the seeds look great. I am not big on sunflower seeds, but I love raising the flowers. I’ve decided to keep some seeds if Travis wants them and save the rest of the heads for the winter. My idea is to save them for snow to feed the birds. I am doing some research, but I think I can store them in the basement or garage since they are completely dried. It will just be for the season so I don’t think I’ll have to do anything special. It’ll certainly save us some money on seed. I can’t wait to see how it works!
